Dry skin remedies

Dry skin is a great problem for many people who have to bear with dry skin problems at regular basis.There are different dry skin products available in market; however, natural ingredients, like yogurt, honey, milk, olive oil, egg, and oatmeal are best resource materials for the general treatment of dry skin. A few handy remedies are narrated for the daily care process of dry skin.

Application of honey is good for skin; honey mask maintains natural hydration level of dry skin tone and rejuvenates new cell growth. For daily care process some honey treated milk [cow milk or cold goat milk] should be smeared on face, hands, and feet. This simple practice will retain smoothness and softness of dry skin tone.

Milk is a good cleanser for all types of skin. Instead of using chemical based cleansing milk cream, two times a day cleansing face and neck with milk soaked cotton ball will improve the suppleness of skin tone.

Those who suffer from dry skin discomfort application of milk will help to control the itching problem.

Those who suffer from dry skin problem, instead of market available body lotions may consider using a body cream for whole body. To prepare this creamy body lotion we have to mix apricot, cucumber, mango, avocado, ripe banana, grape, honey together in 1 ½ cup of cold cow milk or goat milk. The mixture should be applied on body before bath and should retain for 10 minutes before washing by lukewarm water.

Use of olive oil as massage oil will provide immense benefit for improvement of dry skin texture. Regular use of olive oil will make skin tone soft and bright.

Oatmeal is a good natural ingredient for daily care of dry skin. A paste formed by mixing oatmeal and egg yolk is an effective skin pack for dry skin.

Application of this pack on face, neck, hands, and feet helps in maintaining the natural softness and adds youthful luster on skin tone. This face pack should be washed after 15-20 minutes. This simple natural process should be repeated for 2-3 times in a week for best benefit.

Dry skin face pack can be prepared by cooked oatmeal also. Cooked oatmeal and honey combination together forms a good dry skin face pack. The pack should be washed off by cold running water after 15 minute of its application.

Those who have dry skin should not use alcohol based soaps; regular bathing with lukewarm water instead of hot water will help to maintain natural softness of skin tone.
