Dry Eye Syndrome is a Troublesome Eye Problem
Tears are made of natural oils, antibodies, mucus, water, and natural proteins. However, when the tearing glands cannot produce tears adequately, it results in dry eye. There are certain discomfort associated with dry eye syndrome like pain, itchiness and burning sensation in eyes. Blurred vision, bloodshot eyes, and photo sensitivity are the other common symptoms of dry eye.

Harsh climate or warm atmosphere impacts negatively on eye dryness, wearing sunglasses can prevent the irritation and discomforts caused by dry eye syndrome.
Use of humidifier helps to retain moisture in air so if your house lacks moist air, use of humidifier can help somehow the situation. If you are using ceiling fans, you should set it in lower speed to avoid dryness in eye.
If you work in front of computer or watching television, you should take regular break and you need to blink your eyes frequently to avoid the discomfort in eyes.
