Diet For Prevention of Constipation

Constipation is one of the most common diseases related to digestion people tend to feel mostly in their adult age. Children also suffer from this problem like adults. There are several factors which trigger constipation which include type of diet, lack of exercise, adequate intake of water, insufficient sleep or stress in life. Sometimes constipation may be originated from some log term medication.
In most of the cases change of diet helps to manage this irritating ailment. Sedentary life style, taking food in wrong time, skipping lunch or breakfast is one of the triggers of setting constipation so while you are trying to prevent constipation you should never skip a meal.
Intake of high fiber rich diet is good remedy for constipation although it is unwise to introduce huge amount of fiber once in while in the diet. It may cause abnormal flatulence as well as indigestion which can disturb the whole digestion system.
Fruits are better diet than fruit juice for the constipating persons because of presence of roughage, the roughage helps to reduce the intensity of constipation and ease in evacuation.
Consumption of fresh lemon extract with honey in lukewarm water in the morning with empty stomach is a good remedy for constipation. This remedy may cause a tendency of loose motion for initial days but it will come in shape in the later period.
Consumption of green vegetable is good for prevention of constipation. Therefore a diet for constipation should include vegetables and green leafy vegetables liberally in a diet plan.
Lean meat can be taken in moderate amount but the diet to work against constipation should eliminate red meat from the diet chart. Instead cold water fish need to be takes at least once in a week.
Low calorie dairy products helps in cleansing the digestive track and helps for better bowel movements. Apart from these you can include oatmeal, legumes, barley and applesauce in your diet which can help you to make the stool soft.
Intake of sufficient water and regular exercise can manage the intensity of constipation.
