Compulsive Overeating Is A Great Problem For Healthy Life

Compulsive over eating is a dietary disorder; it is basically a kind of food addiction, characterized by typical trait of uncontrolled intake of foods which in most of the cases results in gaining weight. The basic problem with the patients of this disease is instead of checking this abnormal eating tendency they tend to hide the problem hence gets more in trouble. As an alcoholic addicted person finds his refuge into boozing, similarly the patients of compulsive disorder takes their refuge in consumption of foods.

There are some easy readable factors which might help for self diagnosing the problem of compulsive overeating syndrome; however, the final diagnosis of this disorder should be left on doctor’s opinion.

There are basically two types of symptoms like physical and psychological: physical symptoms include unnecessary indulgence of foods, trial for different dieting habits, and suffering from overweight problem whereas the patient of this syndrome hardly eats anything in public. Although patients of compulsive eating habits pursue one after another dieting habits but they cannot get success due to their blockage about food intake.

There are some psychological symptoms for the patient of compulsive behavior.  Out of the list recurring depression is one of the most acute symptoms for overeating syndrome. A sense of frustration always hunts the mind set of the suffering patients and the patient without being aware of the problem remains over conscious about her food intake. While the patient may pretending front of other people, but the anomaly in food taking is one of the most irritating symptoms of this life style disease.

Although the problem might sound innocent in its first description but this syndrome proves devastating for the patient. An obese person not only suffers for the infliction of cancer, he/she can suffer in nausea and fatigue and in later stage the problem of diabetes and hypertension tends to destroy normal course of activities that is not good for the over all mental health of the person.
