Common Allergic Conditions and Their Signs and Symptoms
Body parts, like eyes, lungs, nose, stomach and skin, which are prone to allergic reactions displays visible irruptions and discomforts caused by allergy.Although the discomforts of allergic reactions are caused by allergy, the symptoms of allergic reactions vary from one another and these symptoms are known as common allergy disorder.
Those who suffer from pollen allergy simultaneously suffer from the problem of seasonal type of nasal problems like running nose and nasal congestion. This symptom is popularly called as hey fever. The most common symptoms of hey fever are blocked nose, sneezing, itchy ear and tickling sensation in ear, and nasal itching followed by mild temperature and sore throat.
Asthma is a respiratory problem caused due to inflammation and contraction of the air passages of the lungs. The problems of inflammation leads to remarkable reduce in air inlet which turns down the input and outflow of the lungs. In most of the cases asthma is related to allergy and the common symptom for this problem is hard coughing, puffing air, tightness in chest, and shortness in breath.
Allergic conjunctivitis is the problem of eyes and in this problem eyes get red, swollen and often the infection triggers constant tearing. Redness in eyes, watery eyes, and inflammation of the eye membranes are the general symptoms for allergic eye; it is known as allergic conjunctivitis.
Allergic eczema is known as atopic dermatitis and somehow sometimes even without any trigger the body rash appears on the body with general symptoms like itching, rash on face, redness and dryness of skin, rash around the eyes; in some cases the rash appears on the chest of the body. The rash can be controlled but cannot be cured completely.
Hives are kind of skin irruptions that occur as itchy inflammations and can be appeared on any part of the body. Hive is caused due to certain allergic reactions; however, it can affect some normal person who is not allergy prone in general.
Allergic shock is a life threatening allergic reaction which can cause severe symptoms like reddish discoloration of skin tone, acute nasal congestion, and inflammation of internal throat, acute nausea, panting, restlessness, and sudden fall off for blood pressure. Apart from allergic reaction, shock of allergy is caused by inadequate circulation of blood or due to some allergic infection in body and can attack any person without any prior symptoms.
