Bad breath remedies
Bad breath is a problem of oral health. Bad breath is caused by anaerobic bacteria, which usually reside in between tongue and throat and produce smelly compounds causing severe bad breath. It is proven that there is no relation between digestive detoxification and bad breath cure.Bad dental hygiene, tooth decay, bacteria in mouth, denture, heavy metal accumulation, diabetes, gingivitis, etc. induce bad breath on mouth. However, there are other several reasons for developing bead breath problem.
However, if treatment can be done, it is possible to extricate this disorder out from the way of life.
It is always recommended to brush teeth two times a day with soft bristled toothbrush and rinse mouth well after each meal. Especially, after consumption of milk, sweets, fish, and meat based diet mouth should be washed thoroughly.
It is good to clean tongue with baking soda treated water at regular basis; this simple habit reduces the acidic balance of mouth and reduces chance of development of bacteria causing bad breath. At the same time regular cleaning of tongue, cheek inside, and flossing of teeth prevent formation of bad breath.
Use of mouth wash can stop the development of bad breath. However, it is always good to use mouth washes with zinc, chlorine oxide, cetylpyridinium chloride, and chlorine dioxide because these mouth washes can prevent formation of unwanted bacterial growth inside mouth and can stop formation of bad breath with better efficiency.
A research based study has revealed that consumption of yogurt at regular [at least for 6 weeks basis helps to eliminate bad breath problem. The friendly yeast of yogurt can eliminate the harmful bacteria growth by 80%.
Alternatively, rinsing mouth with lemon treated water helps curing the problem of bad breath. For optimum benefit lemon water remedy should be practiced at night before bedtime.
Consumption of plenty of water throughout the day helps in elimination of bad breath to some extent.
Chewing basil leaves, cloves, cardamom seeds, coriander, parsley, fennel seeds, thyme, rosemary, cinnamon bark, or anise seeds proves beneficial for the natural treatment of bad breath. All these ingredients are known breath fresheners and regular chewing of any of them will cure the problem of bad breath to some extent.
