Back pain symptoms
Back pain problem varies greatly in its intensity and it is difficult to do the normal activities with severe back pain.
It is always important to learn the symptoms of different back pains because by proper narration of the symptoms only, the problem of back pain can properly be diagnosed and doctor can run relevant treatment against this issue.
General symptoms of back pain are more or less general. The intensity of the symptoms varies from one patient to another and also it depends on the tolerance scale of the affected person.
The problem of back pain involves continuous pain and stiffness on the spinal area. The stiffness can be felt at any place; starting from neck base to hips, the focal point of back pain may felt at any point.
The back pain victim may feel sharp pain on lifting heavy objects in the neck, lower back, and upper back area. Patients of chronic back pain often suffer from intense pain after participation in strenuous activities.
The patient suffering from back pain often feels sharp back pain in the middle or lower back portion after if he sits or stands for a long time. In most of the cases the pain is felt from low back to thigh, low-back to toes, and toward calf muscles, and sometimes from low back to buttock.
There are certain alarming symptoms of back pain. In case, any of these symptoms are felt by the patient, it is better to consult doctor at the earliest.
A patient may feel the problem of numbness or certain tingling sensation or lack of control on arms’ movement with back pain. This problem should be reported to doctor immediately because these symptoms may signify major damage to the spinal cord.
The intensity of back pain gets intensified when the patient suffers from coughing or tends to bent forward at waist– this may be due to herniated disc and this disorder requires immediate medical attention.
If the back pain problem is felt with additional symptoms like mild fever, burning sensation at urination, and foul smelling urine, there is high chance that the back pain is one of the major symptoms of bacterial infection at urinary track.
If a patient suffers from back pain with fecal or urinary incontinence, it may be a sign of kidney malfunctioning.
If a patient suffers from back pain, which is extending in nature, moving downward via rear portion of leg , it is might be due to the problem of sciatica, which needs immediate medical intervention for pain management.
