Herbal teas are good for health for their therapeutic benefits and refreshing effects. There are different types of herbal teas with different potential medicinal benefits.

Although herbal tea packets are available in market, it is easy to prepare herbal tea with dried herbs also. Some herbal teas are mentioned here with outline health benefits.

Sage tea is immensely beneficial for the treatment of the sore throat due to the infection of tonsillitis or laryngitis. Other than sore throat complication, consumption of sage tea is prescribed in herbal treatment of indigestion, constipation, or for soothing effect in nerves.

Consumption of rosemary herbal tea helps in improvement in blood circulation, provides relief from cold symptoms, works as liver stimulant, and relieves joint pain and headache. The leaves of rosemary plants are used for herbal tea preparation.

Cardamom teas are widely known for the spicy aroma. Cardamom seeds are used for the tea preparation. Recommended doses of cardamom tea stimulate digestion, relieve from the discomfort of gas and flatulence, and comfort the problem of stomach cramps.

Chamomile herbal teas are made of chamomile flowers; it soothes the stomach, provides comfort against cold symptoms, pacifies disturbed nerves, and induces natural sleep for the patients of sleeplessness syndrome.

Herbal tea made of lemon balm herbs and the leaves of this plant are used for making tea. Consumption of lemon balm tea helps in maintaining a tranquil mood, soothes nerve irritation, and provides relief from disorder of stomach.

Ginger roots are used for the preparation of ginger herbal tea. Slow sipping of ginger herbal tea is of immense benefits. It improves blood circulation, comforts the choking hazard of cold and flu attack, relieves from menstrual cramps, and eases the nagging discomfort of nausea.

Consumption of ginger tea is beneficial for the treatment of stomach cramps and for the treatment of migraines pain.

The bark of cinnamon tree is used for herbal tea. Cinnamon herbal tea improves blood circulation, provides relief from acute cold symptoms, and eases stomach upset, and comforts menstrual cramp. On regular consumption, cinnamon herbal tea helps to keep natural control on blood sugar and insulin.

Valerian herbal tea is prepared by the roots of the plant. However, recommended dose of valerian herbal tea helps in promoting sound sleep, soothes nerves, comforts the pain of stomach cramp, over all works as a natural relaxant.
